Our Team
When you entrust us with the care and education of your child, you can be assured our educators put the well-being, happiness, development and education of your child above all else.
Our team members have been carefully selected, not only because of their wide variety of qualifications and experience but also because of their supportive and caring natures and their professional attitude to early childhood education and care.
We pride ourselves on having many long term team members, and we make every effort to keep the turnover of staff to a minimum.
Our educators are advocates for the important role of early childhood education in life long learning and health and operate under a Code of Ethics as a professional set of standards to guide all aspects of their work role and educational practice. All of our educators hold current qualifications in First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma according to ACECQA requirements. All educators have also undergone a “Working With Children” check as part of the Queensland Blue Card system.
To enhance the Centre’s quality of care, each team member is also offered opportunities to attend in-service training and consult with professional bodies, in an endeavour to keep up-to-date with new developments within the early childhood profession.
Our team is led by a very experienced early childhood professional, Brooke Williams, who has been at the Centre for many years.
The Centre’s family owners, Stephen and Jennie Kemp, have more than twenty-eight years experience as childcare service providers. Stephen is a Doctor of Philosophy (Ethics) from the University of Queensland while Jennie has a degree in Medical Science from the Queensland University of Technology as well as being a qualified Food Safety Supervisor.
